Pointe Claire resides in a quiet area of Montreal Island called West Island. This part of Montreal is known as the West Island has a lot of different communities. People who have never heard of it often confuse it with an island that is west-facing. Amanda Brugel is said to have been born on the West Island. But it's not the case. Brugel grew to be a young woman within Courtice Ontario just outside Oshawa. When she was a child, she wanted to be a performer but an unexpected growth spurt made it impossible.
